On April 22, 2023 our sustainable neighborhood group ran a booth all about the “Sustainable Yard” at Lakewood’s Earth Day Celebration. We shared information about how to rebuild the soil in your yard and garden.

Bring extra seeds and swap with others who have extras too. Even if you don’t have seeds to share, please join us for a fun afternoon in the park.

We picked apples throughout the neighborhood.

Get your garden ready for spring by coming down to the neighborhood seed swap.

We recycled 15 Christmas trees. Lakewood will turn this until mulch people can use in their yards and gardens.
