On March 30, we gathered at the South Lakewood Elementary Community Garden to share seeds and starters. We also enjoyed snacks, lawn games and good conversation. Over 50 of us came through and it was a real blast!

On January 7th, 202 the sustainable neighborhood group took 16 Christmas trees to the city greenhouse for composting. As a city the estimated total amount of leaves collected was 3,500 yards, and 1,500 Christmas trees were recycled! Join us for food and fun at Meadowlark Park every other Tuesday this summer. You bring the lawn games, we’ll bring the food trucks from 5pm-7pm June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, August 8, and August 22.
